Lisa Boyer, LMT

Massage Therapist

Lisa specializes in sports massage and therapeutic bodywork, supporting everyone from world-class athletes to weekend warriors. Her intuitive, results-focused approach helps clients recover, reset, and feel more at home in their bodies.

  • Lisa is a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in sports massage and therapeutic bodywork. Originally from Minnesota, splitting her time between Forest Lake and Moorhead, she moved to Colorado in 2002, trading lakes for mountains and never looking back. After years in leadership roles with large companies, Lisa felt the pull toward a more hands-on, purpose-driven path. She enrolled in the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2014, specializing in Sports Massage and launching a career grounded in connection, movement, and lasting impact.

Lisa’s massage work has taken her from the clinic to the field, providing care for MMA fighters, professional soccer players, and world-class athletes, including members of the New Zealand Women’s Olympic rugby team and international competitors at Empower Field. Whether she’s working with elite athletes or helping a client relieve day-to-day tension, Lisa brings deep empathy, precision, and intention to every session.

  • Lisa’s professional training and experience include:

    • Sports Massage

    • Therapeutic and deep tissue techniques

    • Injury prevention and athletic performance massage

    • Recovery and maintenance care for high-level athletes

    • Neuromuscular awareness and muscle pattern re-education

  • Lisa supports a wide range of clients and needs, with special experience in:

    • Athletic recovery, performance, and injury prevention

    • Head-to-toe tension relief through targeted deep tissue work

    • Muscle alignment and pattern correction

    • Event massage for runners, cyclists, and rugby athletes

    • Regular bodywork as part of long-term wellness and maintenance

  • Lisa believes massage is both an art and a conversation. Her sessions begin with listening, both to what her clients share and to what their bodies reveal. She combines clinical knowledge with intuition to create care plans that target root causes, not just symptoms. Her approach is grounded, customized, and centered around helping people through regular, thoughtful care.

  • What have been your career highlights (so far)?
Working for the New Zealand and England Rugby League teams in 2018. That experience opened the door to ongoing massage work with international rugby teams visiting Colorado.
