Emily Sealy Dipl.OM., L.Ac.

Acupuncturist and Holistic Medicine Practitioner and Cert. Reiki Master

Emily specializes in acupuncture, Chinese herbalism, and Reiki for emotional wellness, chronic illness, and stress recovery. Her care blends energy work with evidence-informed healing to help patients find calm, clarity, and connection.

  • Emily is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and Reiki Master who brings over a decade of experience in energy work and holistic healing to her practice. Though she was born elsewhere, she grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and proudly calls it home. Her journey into this work began with her own, navigating a chronic illness that went undiagnosed for years. In searching for healing, she discovered the profound impact of acupuncture, Reiki, and herbal medicine, and knew she wanted to help others find the same relief and clarity.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Healthcare from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she studied both biomedical science and complementary medicine. She went on to graduate from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a dual focus in acupuncture and Chinese herbalism. Today, she is nationally recognized as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM.

  • Emily brings over 13 years of experience in energy healing and holistic care, including:

    • Usui and Karuna Reiki Master

    • Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)

    • Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado

    • Dual training in acupuncture + Chinese herbalism

    • Specialized background in biomedical and integrative healthcare

  • Emily offers acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Reiki for:

    • Stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD

    • Emotional overwhelm and burnout

    • Digestive challenges and gut health

    • Chronic illness and long-term wellness

    • Nervous system support and energy balance

She often blends Reiki and acupuncture into a deeply calming and integrative experience to support both physical and emotional healing.

  • Emily believes healing is layered and that creating a safe, grounded space for rest and self-connection is a powerful starting point. Her care is gentle, individualized, and rooted in the belief that when we make room for calm and clarity, the body begins to heal on its own. Her sessions prioritize presence, deep listening, and a non-judgmental space to come exactly as you are.

  • What have been your career highlights (so far)?
Helping create space for patients to relax and unburden from the stressors of life, whether physical or emotional, and seeing those ripple effects: better sleep, better energy, more centeredness. That’s the most rewarding part of my work.

    Favorite Movie?
    Howl’s Moving Castle

    #1 Bucket List Trip?
So hard to choose—my travel dreams are big! But right now, it’s New Zealand.

    Favorite Things In The World?
A rainy day spent with my partner and kitty, bundled in blankets, sipping tea and reading a good book. Heavenly.

    Biggest Challenge:
Balancing the desire to do all the things (work, travel, be social) with the need to slow down and care for my physical and mental health. I’ve gotten better at it, but it’s always a dynamic process.
