Dr. Alex Ferrier is a Denver-based physical therapist and Neurofeedback Specialist with a passion for challenging the status quo of healthcare. She believes every patient deserves evidence-informed, individualized care that honors the connection between the brain and body. Originally from Northern Virginia, Alex moved to Colorado in 2017 to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the Anschutz Medical Campus, drawn by both the mountains and the opportunity to make a deeper impact in the field.
Inspired by her own experience with sports injuries, Alex set out to reimagine recovery for athletes and active individuals. Her treatment philosophy has since expanded to recognize that healing extends beyond the physical and that emotional resilience and mental clarity are just as essential to the process.
-
In addition to her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Dr. Alex brings advanced training in:
Dry Needling
Manual Therapy
Neurofeedback
Movement Screening and Analysis
Custom Exercise Prescription
Her integrated, hands-on approach combines these tools to support recovery, performance, and long-term wellness.

Dr. Alex works with a wide range of patients, including:
Athletes returning to sport or managing chronic injury
Individuals navigating post-injury or post-surgical recovery
Patients managing stress-related movement challenges
Clients seeking nervous system regulation and neurofeedback
People wanting to feel stronger, more connected, and in control of their health

Dr. Alex believes that great care begins with listening … to the patient, to the body, and to the nervous system. She’s known for blending science-backed tools with a compassionate presence, helping patients uncover the “why” behind their pain and equipping them with tools that create long-lasting change. Whether she’s treating a pro athlete or a new parent managing stress, she brings the same intention: to help people feel better and more empowered in their bodies.
