Dr. Jace Buzek
(you can call him Dr. B)
Chiropractor and Founder of Well Set
Dr. B was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania (about 45 miles east of Pittsburgh – what’s up Yinzers!?). While this is what he tells people, it’s not exactly true. He spent much of his early life traveling in the back of his dad’s conversion van to play hockey throughout the US and Canada. In high school, Dr. B played Junior A hockey in the USHL. He moved away from his family and friends to pursue his dream of playing college hockey. As a Junior hockey player, Dr. B (a self-proclaimed skinny, fast kid) learned how important chiropractic was to keep him skating and playing at a high-level.
Dr. B went on to play Division 1 college hockey, and after a difficult decision to end his hockey career, he was accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
After graduating chiropractic school in February of 2010, Dr. B started his own practice in his hometown of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In 2012, he moved from Pennsylvania to Denver and saw the sun for the first time ever. For his first 5 years in Denver, Dr. B built a successful practice at Washington Park Chiropractic. He started Well Set in 2017.
We won’t bore you with all of the self-promoting details, but these certifications are pretty cool (and seriously advanced), and it’s rare (i.e., Dr. B is only 1 of two chiropractors in Denver with this line up) that a chiropractor would have them all. So, long story short, be sure to check them out at the links provided.
Dr. B uses a variety of soft tissue techniques and holds numerous certifications in these methods (e.g., IASTM/Graston, FAKTR, Rocktape, Functional Movement Taping).
When it comes to helping out his patients, Dr. B is especially good with active families (pregnant moms, dads, infants, and youth athletes), Weekend Warriors, and professional and college athletes. Dr. B has been a University team chiropractor in the past, and for the last few years he’s worked with NFL players and combine athletes to get them ready to perform at their highest potential.
With all joking aside, Dr. B’s goal with all of his patients is to get them feeling better and doing more within their first few visits. He wants to keep his patients active and to get them to maintenance care as soon as possible. To do this, he loves working with other medical providers to ensure that everyone is getting treatments that target the cause(s) of their discomfort by following a path of least invasiveness.
Rapid fire Q&A with Dr. B:
What have been your career highlights (so far)?:
Every time a pregnant mom’s breech baby flips after using the Webster Technique, finding early cancer and serious health issues and getting patients to the medical professionals they need to see as early as possible, adjusting infants for the first time, and watching some patients win a Super Bowl.
What’s your goal in life?
Be a supportive, fun-loving husband, dad, colleague, and friend. Play more golf. Change the way people (and the medical profession) think about their chiropractors … unless you love us because that’s rad, and I don’t want to change that.

Career hockey fight wins:
Dr. P was raised in Hazleton, Pennsylvania which is in the Northeastern portion of the state. (Yes, near Scranton, Pennsylvania and yes, he loves The Office!) Most of his life growing up revolved around sports. From the age of 8-18 he spent much of his time at school and on the high school football field as his father was the head football coach of the high school for 10 years. He enjoyed playing baseball, football, and basketball. In high school, he excelled at both baseball and football for 4 years.
After his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player (specifically second baseman for the New York Yankees) were cut short, Dr. P attended Pennsylvania State University. Here, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology Movement Science and was accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida.
After graduating from Chiropractic School in 2017, Dr. P headed West to team up with Dr. Jace Buzek and help build Denver’s premier spot for chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage. That’s right, Well Set.
Dr. P is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). He uses soft tissue work as a tool in his practice. He is also certified in Dr. Charrette’s Spinal, Rib, TMJ, and Extremity Technique which makes him one of the unique young chiropractors today that has this certification.
As a chiropractor, Dr. P has treated patients aged 7 days old to 70 years old. He uses a variety of techniques to find and treat the cause of your problem. Dr. P has had experience with high school and collegiate athletes. Whether they have injuries or want to be treated before a big game, Dr. P is the man for the job (He also really likes to work on shoulders. It’s kind of weird. But, he’s really good at it). His experience also extends to helping pregnant mothers throughout each trimester with chiropractic care resulting in happy moms, dads, and babies!
Overall, Dr. P is a team player. He believes in working with other healthcare providers to bring your well-being up to its fullest potential! Dr. P puts his patients on the right care plan to give them the best chance at correcting their problem in the least amount of time possible. His rapport with his patients and his passion for their care are second to none.
Rapid fire Q&A with Dr. P:
What have been your career highlights (so far)?:
Preventing a 3rd rotator cuff surgery through chiropractic care in a fireman/surfer in constant pain, treating pregnant mothers throughout their pregnancy- resulting in natural deliveries and healthy babies, and helping a martial arts athlete restore full range of motion in his hip which got him back to the sport he loves.
What’s your goal in life?
Be a good person, do things for the right reason, and lead a happy, healthy life. Attend more Rockies Games, do more hiking, and get back into skiing. Treat each patient with the utmost respect and show them how chiropractic can change their lives for the better!

Katie is a Colorado Native raised in Evergreen (Aka E-Town to the locals). Whoop! She spent most of her childhood outdoors with her active brothers and father - you could say she knows how to hang with the boys. Every winter you'd find her on the slopes of Vail where her parents would ship her every weekend (her Dad was one of the first ski instructors at Vail)! She loves the mountains of Colorado with all her heart.
Fast forward to undergrad, when Katie received a double major in Speech Pathology and Audiology and then after college when Katie found a passion for working with children and particularly those with special needs.
Fast forward a bit more, when Katie became inspired for a bright new path after finding that Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine helped her with her life long struggles with digestion. She had finally found a medicine that listened and actively made her feel better without the use of pharmaceuticals ... what a concept! Katie took a big leap and went back to school. She graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012 after completing an intense three-year accelerated program that included 2,850 hours of education with 1,000 hours of clinical experience.
Katie specializes in women's health, nutrition, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, mental health, internal medicine and digestion.

So far, it’s served as an excellent companion to her massage therapy skill set, and she’s been able to help her patients understand their bodies in a new and dynamic way. Taylor believes that we are all facilitators of our own healing, and while receiving treatment from top-notch practitioners is essential and valuable, it’s imperative for each person to be willing to do what it takes (scheduling regular visits, keeping up with self-care at home and work, drinking water, etc.) and wholly participate in the process to see optimal results.
Taylor blends her Neuromuscular and Sports massage roots with her acquired skills, Thai and Craniosacral, to create a therapeutic and relaxing, fully well-rounded experience.
Taylor, born and raised in Colorado, has a fierce love of the outdoors. She went to massage school at the Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts in Durango, CO (the unofficial health nut capital of the world), graduating in 2009. Her school had a heavy focus on Neuromuscular Therapy but also equipped her with skills in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, TMJ, Swedish, and Prenatal. Since graduating nine years ago, Taylor has taken several continuing education courses: Craniosacral Therapy, Thai Massage, Ashiatsu, and Oncology, to name a few.
In September of 2017, Taylor made her decade-long yoga practice official by completing a 200-hour teacher training.
Rapid fire Q & A with Taylor:
WHAT HAVE BEEN YOUR CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (SO FAR)?
Seeing patients through their Iron Man training and improving their performances, helping a patient restore hearing loss with use of Craniosacral and TMJ techniques, watching the light come on in someone’s eyes when they make a connection and understand their bodies better, and working alongside other amazing healthcare professionals to customize the ultimate treatment plan to each individual.
WHAT’S YOUR GOAL IN LIFE?
Learn and grow as much as I can, and work on taking care of and healing myself everyday, to enable me to be of utmost service to others. I hope to inspire people to be curious about their own wellness and healing, and encourage them to follow the path toward living their best lives.

I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Buzek for the past 5 years. He has not only helped me work through a difficult recovery after a discectomy while still in college, but has provided extremely helpful insights and teachings on how to better my everyday routines to improve my quality of life.
Dr. B is my soul chiropractor. Regardless of whether we are in the office or not, he has become someone that I can really count on. When you spend time in the office with him you get the notion that you are family. This really is true. He is always willing to go above and beyond for his patients, regardless of the added stress and longer hours incurred by him personally. He is a testament to how medical professionals should engage with their patients, making each and every individual comfortable to openly discuss ailments so that he is better able to provide valuable remedies. Often times a visit to the office does not begin with diving straight into everything that is wrong with me. Rather, most of it time visits begin with a more personal approach, where he is interested in what is happening in my life.
I believe that it is this personable level of caring that makes doctor Buzek the revered doctor that he is. He fully understands what is occurring in your life so that he can better understand how to treat you. He realizes that there is an immediate relationship to outside factors that play into everyday ailments and pains. With a clear conscious I can fully stand behind the statement that there will not be a better friend or chiropractor that I will meet nor trust, aside from Dr. Jace Buzek. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment.
